WHAT WILL F2P HAVE ACESS TO?

Sin título.png

In the wow20 discord, we have created a theory, based on official info (which is still not enought enlightening).

Official info:

  • Lvls20 will be the new lvls10 (formula = 20*50/100) --- see this other news for more info.

  • Their blizzcon image (starting zones=1to10 --- lvling zones=10to50 (including vanilla zones) --- highlvl=50to60(SL))

  • For 10to50, you can choose Chromie mode = you can start whatever expansion and vanilla.

  • For 10to50, you can choose Normal mode = lvling way does not change but all scale with the formula "*50/120".

Example: BC expansion would be 25-30 in Normal mode /// but BC would be 10-50 in Chromie mode

We still don't know if 10s will be able to choose Normal mode, Chromie mode, or both. For Chromie mode, we have a theory below:

  • First of all, we suppose that f2p's will be able to leave Exile's reach (see this other news)

  • Theory: in Chromie mode, they will allow you to start for example on Wrath expansion at lvl 10, but they will never allow you to go direcly to kill Lich King at lvl 10. Each expansion has its progression. So with this idea, maybe lvls10 could access to all expansions, but just to the very beggining of them. It's like if you start WOD expansion at lvl100, but you can't do the quests that req lvl101. The same for to subzones, and dung/raids. So this option would fit for F2Ps (not a lot of cracy new content).

  • Another cracy theory could be that they could put a new system similar to the proffesions. I mean, now 225/225 vanilla = 0/50 bc. But before, the 1st point of bc was 226 (instead of the theorical 225). There was no "0" on bc. Maybe they could make something similar with the cap at lvl 10, to avoid problems in Normal mode and in Chromie mode.

More official info in my other SL threads, and in this mmochampion link.
